A fork-like tip to give hairlike lines under your eyebrows. The color and pen are consistent and last a long time which we liked. This pen really stays, too. Even after washing our face we found some of the pen’s lines still visible. Very impressive!

The Brow Flick uses a slightly different tip. Unlike Liaison and Essence, it’s a very fine-point pen that, like the name implies, you flick to create small eyebrow lines. While not our first choice, we did appreciate its ability to fill in the finest detail. It may be your second tool if you’re very concerned with your eyebrow game. Start with something more defining and essential like the Liaison Microbabe, and use this for the finer details.

Although it’s not our favorite pen, as we found it doesn’t last as long as others, Milk Makeup’s Kush Triple Brow Pen does have some pros. First, it comes in EIGHT shades. That’s great for the girl with light brown brows! It also includes a special formula of aloe and CBD oil to keep your brows healthy. But, like we said, it just doesn’t last as long as we’d like. Our final choice was MAC Shape + Shade Brow Tip for its innovative use of space to make a powder and pen in one product. Unlike the other pens, this one has two sides, one for the finer detail and the other to help fill in the rest. The spongy tip picks up powder and lets you smooth out the look of your brows with a small amount of shading. We like the idea, but in practice, we didn’t find this as helpful as one would think. However, if you’re an expert at the pen, this may be a fun tool to have in your bag.
